Potential Tropical Cyclone 9 expected to strengthen into hurricane before Florida landfall

Both the intensity and directional forecasts have this storm becoming a hurricane by early Wednesday morning. It would be named Helene.

As a Floridian for 50 years I have never heard them say cyclone. Ever.

So in Georgia We don't need to be Outside on Thursday we Have to stay indoors and try to hunker down?

So when you say cyclone, do you mean to say that this storm originated south of the equator because that's what that means or are you just trying to fear monger, everybody with a new word that we're not used to, because that's what it looks like

It needs to track away from Florida - we are full and not accepting hurricane's 🌀 at the moment
