I love it for just one thing. the sound setting is so soothing. I have tried same track with different players and that of groove hits differently

Groove music is the worst player I have ever used, it's a shame you can't voice your opinion on their web site.

Ive used groove music but i still prefer the zune software over this any day. Zune software was very well built and looks very nice. I dont understand why they couldn't just stick with what they built before.

Thank god Windows Media Player 12 is compatible with WIndows 10. I use both WMP12 and Winamp atm for local tracks. Spotify is great, but not so much for local tracks, because it's just one big list.

It just sucks for me. I have a 200GB FLAC collection and Groove just doesn't understand album artist and decides to show unknown artist instead. On top of that it doesn't find my cover art while every other music player does that flawless. It's also impossible to edit tags in the app. I'll stick to foobar2000 for now.

What are the main cons of this? I have a new Windows 10 phone and the Spotify app hardly works for me..ever...but I love the ability to discover new music. Does Groove have a growing library of new artists and small artists?

Groove won't let you add album covers that stay on the files. They have too many albums that have blank spaces, and if you know the cover, you could add it on your PC, but they disappear on external hard drives.

microsoft's decision to lock groove music only to their own lousy player is a total deal-breaker. you can't even use WMP. no thanks MS.

I absolutely hate iTunes it mismanaged my music collection, I've tried a few times for it to import my box sets and it spreads it out as various albums from that artist.  ITunes music service is similar, I'm trying the Groove Pass service, there's a free 30 day trial, I hope it doesn't give my android the middle finger as much as iTunes does.

I've NEVER EVER had SO MUCH stress since I switched over to Microsoft Groove Music (on my new Microsoft Lumia Phone).. Its the $HITTIE$T music app in the I got the phone in March, and I'm still faffing around, trying to get all of my music from my iPod onto the Lumia Phone. In the end I downloaded a totally separate app called "Musixmatch" just for the simple reason that when you listen to music on your phone using this STUPID OneDrive (Groove Music), did you ALL know that you HAVE to be connected to the (of wifi) Your music WILL NOT play if you're not connected to the I didn't know this and went out quite happily driving in my car -- and the Groove Music app kept It was driving me nuts! [I realized much later that the reason it was stopping was because I was driving in an area with, very low, or NO wifi signal] I would pull over and get it working again, time and time again -- but one time I nearly had an accident when I stupidly (and out of sheer frustration) tried to fix Groove-Music (and get it to work) whilst the car was still I swerved quite badly... After that, I thought I'm NEVER using this app ever again! Its WAY too dangerous! So I now use Musixmatch on my Microsoft Lumia (with a 32GB micro-SD card inserted) and I don't use that dreadful OneDrive. With Musixmatch you can listen to the music WITHOUT having to be connected to wifi or the internet... Because the music is actually ON your phone...
