What I don't understand is this. The US's foreign debt already amounts to some 35 trillion dollars ( more than the total of annual GDP) and is growing by 1 trillion dollars per year ie the politicians in the US have already committed the population in the US to a debt that they cannot comfortably afford, and now, on top of that, the US politicians are willing to give even more money to Israel, in the circumstance where there is so much controversy amongst ordinary American citizens as to the legality of Israels assault on Gaza . ( not to mention numerous ICJ rulings and articles)
