How to Install the Optimized GammaOS on the Anbernic RG405M

The Anbernic 405M is a surprising little pocket handheld. This device runs Android and sports a surprisingly powerful Unisoc T618 chip that can emulate up to GameCube under the right settings. This device comes prebuilt with an Anbernic-Skinned version of Android, but we can do better thanks to TheGammaSqueeze and his build of Android called GammaOS. This video is a tutorial on how to get GammaOS running on your Anbernic RG405M.

everytime my device goes to fast boot mode, I can no longer locate the device on my computer and it does not work.

Is there anyway to do this with a Mac (m1)? I have been trying to do this process through Windows-Parallels, but it does not connect to the device on the Unisoc Bootloader Unlock Tool. Not sure if I am failing to configure something in Parallels or it just cannot be done. Anyway, great tutorial!

So im at the point of reflashing but when i run the bat file it keeps saying "access denied" on all the commands... Any clue how to get around this or what im doing wrong? Ive been using my wifes windows PC but also have access to an M1 mac if there is another way to do it that way

after putting fastboot reboot fastboot, it just says waiting for device and nothing happens. its been about 5 minutes so far. is there something that im supposed to press on the 405?
