This Minecraft modpack uses the sodium mod, which helps you boost your fps massively, it's called Fabulously Optimized. In this video I go over the main features of Fabulously Optimized, who the modpack is for, and give a short installation guide for those who need help getting the modpack working for their minecraft and provide some personal opinions on the pack itself.

Some notes:

- ***I made an error in the video where I mentioned the Rendering API would provide support for shaders in future. IT DOESN'T. Apologies for the mistake***

- This video was made for the 1.16.4 to 1.16.5 version

- If you have any questions or concerns, you can comment down below as I can actively respond to any queries. Being a small channel means I can spend time ensuring I resolve your query.

Just to further solidify this point. I was running Minecraft at 32 render distance during the entire production of this video. With screen recording software, audio recording software, and video editing software ALL running in the background. And I was STILL getting 400+ fps!

Thanks for watching!

This is a great modpack - especially using it as a base for our own modpack endeavors like you mentioned. Great video in describing all the uses and a brief overview on what's included too!

This does work very well! I would have to have my render distance down to 7 to get workably smooth performance, but I can up it to _12_ and it still runs better than without it. Some might enjoy 16 or 20 or more chunks, but for me, a jump from 7 to 12 is HUGE. Let's me appreciate the beautiful effects from the Simplex Terrain Generator mod that much more, plus the game starts up VERY quickly

This is one of the best tutorials about mods and mechanical stuff for downloading minecraft. Perfect flow, doesn't need to shove in 300 ads and it's all just wonderful! Thank you:)

This modpack is honestly incredible, before i used to run 1.19 at 8 render distance with optifine and still got huge lag spikes when loading new chuncks, now i can run 16 chunks at a smooth 60fps

This Pack is no Joke, better than Optifine by 300%

Note: Fabric Renderer API does not provide the ability to do shaders!

It's a common misconception so no worries, but I still need to precise that ;)

i definitely recommend. When i play minecraft with optifine alone i get only about 50-60 fps (vsync off) with 8 max render distance but with this modpack i get around 130 fps with 16 render distance

for ppl in 1.17, if you want chunk load faster, add starlight in the mod folder because phosphor is isn't in 1.17, only starlight is in 1.17, plus starlight is better anyways

It needed heavy tweaking and sadly, other mods eg. chunk loaders wont work together with this modpack.
But for vanilla mc it is awesome. You preload chunks with integrated "chunky" plugin while playing and by the time you get elytra, you don't fly into void anymore.
Also complementary shader works flawlessly with this modpack.
Liked.

10/10 pretty effective& finally able to use shaders (sildurs lite) with a pbr pack at around 60 fps (i used to get 15 fps with optifine lmao)

if you're a nerd i recommend using other launchers than the curseforge one, theres way better ones and curseforge itself isn't all that great. i recommend using something like the prism launcher and downloading your mods via modrinth. if you follow mod instructions well and like spending some time doing your own research and solving problems, you should have a much better result

I reccomend adding the fabric capes mod since it can show optifine, labymod, and MinecraftCapes so people are more willing to use it because maybe they have a OF cape or something idk
