Man, not only did he lied about her mother being sick, but forcing her to work at a nightclub just so he could leech off her money that's being earned by her? That's pretty dishonourable and disgusting actions by her ex-boyfriend. Glad the MC and the girl manage to get a lawyer to recover back the money from him and be a good couple at the end.

He had her working in a Host club, a job that pretty much requires one to be desirable and pleasant to be around. We know she was making some decent money from there, so even if she wasn't the number 1 host it still proves the opposite of his claim.

This is like the only manga dub channel I've ever seen that uses curses to good effect. Other channels either don't use them at all (which is also cool, of course) or are too lavish with them. I'm happy the writer isn't afraid to be deliberate with their word choice like that.
