Welcome to Part 2 of our Universe Mode Series, helping out with tips, tricks and setting up the best WWE 2K22 Universe mode you can. Today is covering Rivalries, Looking at different cutscenes we can trigger based on the rivalry settings. We also look at tag team creations, superstar management and deletion utility. I really hate the fact that they just fight each other always (or 90% of the time) thought the point was to fight at the ppv like it should be

We definitely need contract signing or backstage brawls, something that can build the rivalry instead of having them face each other every week, because realistically in WWE the fans would be tired of seeing it.

Tip: If you have wrestlers as potential rivals and you're freely booking a feud between them, when you book a 1 on 1 match between them, start the match and then exit it immediately. Once you go back to the match card, there's a probability the game will turn the match into a potential rivalry match which will get you a cutscene.

Majority of these cut scenes have been in the game since 2016. its been my biggest complaint about 2k. I run my own fed and because they took out Promos and story mode out of the game, its just matches. So the fact that we keep seeing the same cut scenes in the same show breaks the illusion and makes it hard for anyone to create a good show.

My favourite Universe Mode memory was back in SVR 11, where I managed to get the Miz to win every championship without any tinkering. I played every match, won all the gold on RAW, got drafted to Smackdown then won all the gold on there. 2010 me was happy

Deletion Utility is just amazing it helps with cleaning up your game and making everything more refreshed

I think you should be able to have the option to add cut scenes In the match of choice and maybe be able to even choose witch cutscenes you want to add

Specific ppvs trigger certain cutscenes as well. Like TLC usually has a couple cutscenes involving ladders and tables as long as there is a rivalry

Thank you for confirming that tag team finishers in the game, DO NOT WORK NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO! I’ve been complaining about this since DAY ONE when the game first came out and a bunch of idiots just tell me that it works on theirs and that I bought a bad copy of the game and I should just get another one smfh!!

Just a heads up the best way to injure a superstar is to lower their Arm, Body, & Leg Durability, I normally lower
▪︎Super Heavyweights 5%
▪︎Heavyweights 10%
▪︎Light Heavyweights 15%
▪︎Cruiserweights 20%
But depending on the superstar it can vary plus all "Recovery Stamina" is lowered as well but I mostly play simulation during my universe mode, I haven't seen an injury cutscenes just yet in my universe but as I speak right now Santos Escobar is out for about 3 weeks do it critical injury, it seems like a lot of work but its kinda worth it in my opinion if you want your universe to seem more authentic.

Actually what I did is I put the peeps on their correct shows, but took everybody out of the rankings except the champs, and they are in other. With everybody out it ends up being like the attitude era where anybody can go for any title. It has been quite interesting.

A lot of crashes also happen due to people not taking care of their devices. Cleaning the cache on your can prevent a ton of crashes. As well as deleting unused apps. For those who dont run power saving settings on their console or PC(even when the device is "off" its still preforming background tasks/downloads/etc when not selected) You run an even higher risk.

Even if youve never experienced crashing personally...deleting unused apps/files alongside clearing your cache with proper device maintenance--youll see faster loading screens & smooth operation.

Brilliant video man, I definitely hope in 2K23 we get a mixture of Universe and Create a Story so you can set up your own show down to the promos, matches and cutscenes.

A got 2 unique sitting on the ringside cutscenes: One where the guest just enters the ring and attacks the rival, causing the DQ and leading into a post match beatdown and another where the guest, who is the challenger, distracts the champion by attempting to steal the belt.

Another tip: You can delete wrestlers assigned to Universe mode saves in the Edit a Superstar menu

Thanks so much Matt, definitely needed this universe mode series because I never knew how to trigger rivalries and I'd end up getting bored in universe mode. For part 3 could u go through the championship divisions and any tips to keep it interesting

Best thing I did for universe mode was change the match table, instead of those stupid inter gender tag matches that never made sense and the countless one v ones you can pick what kind of matches happen and how regular, makes for a better show.

Just toggle with it because at first I was getting triple threats and countless steel cage matches each show.
