Originally released back in 2006, this ground breaking AGA demo by TBL now has it's final release in April 2018. Are you ready to be Starstruck?

If you don't have the hardware requirements to run this on native Amiga hardware, this is the next best thing!
Greetings to Emoon and all at TBL HQ, thank you...

Final version of Starstruck
===========================
Released on 2018-04-11

The original demo was released at Assembly 2006, where it won the PC demo competition (the demo was run in WinUAE).

Some time later MiKRO / Mystic Bytes ported the demo to the Atari Falcon. Thanks, old chap!

We fixed a number of visual glitches and made some overall performance improvements as part of the porting effort. Most of these
changes were brought back to the Amiga codebase as well, but we never released a final version for Amiga.

... that is, until now. Before Revision 2018 people had begun asking what happened to the Amiga version, and
a jolly Britelite / Dekadence convinced Kalms that it was time to revisit Starstruck. The sourcecode was
lying around in Dropbox. It took a bit of tidying up and taking care of loose ends. Here is the result.

12 years is not exactly quick, but yes, this is the final version. We hope you enjoy it!

Had missed this. This is really amazing. Superb art and 3d.

What’s up with people claiming this is not for real Amigas/native hardware? You are and have always been "allowed" to upgrade your Amigas. Even with PowerPC CPUs and Voodoo graphics.

Ok, I first thought this would run on a A1200. But pretty cool even for an Amiga 4000 with those specs.

holy shit. this is literally just PS1 graphics, on an amiga.

Wait so is this an upgraded Amiga 4000? Didn't even know that was a thing. That's so insane for old hardware.

I always wonder how powerful the AAA chip and the Hombre chip would have been if they had actually come out and Amiga had not died. With the Motorola 68000 dying wonder if Amiga would have used a PowerPC like Apple many what ifs

Beautiful one... but definitely not an Amiga Demo, and just equal to a PC demo of the end of the 90's. Who the hell can play this one one on his real system?

this is not native hardware demo so no much interest to it... so write demos for amiga-emulator with 4000mhz mc68000 and 4000mhz blitter-- why not? shit!
