People forget that all of riot games won’t be the same company when faker retires. This man single handedly drives a HUGE percent of the total viewership for the whole game. He IS the main character, he is league of legends. Faker may be overrated in his gameplay, but he is massively underrated as a global icon that runs a multibillion dollar industry that may not be there without him.

The World Series had 15-18 million viewers. League finals was around 7 million viewers. Faker is NOT paid enough. The amount of money he brings in for League, he should be making closer to 20 million a year.

To anyone thinking this is too much. Look back at the worlds music videos and take note of just how often Faker is in them. He is intrinsically tied to the game and Riot knows it.
