Turning Trees into furniture with Matt Cremona

The Triton #MastersofWood series continues with a visit to meet Matt Cremona in Minnesota. For those who haven’t yet explored Matts channel he is a prolific woodworking content creator with a unique twist. Matt starts with locally salvaged trees, mills the timber himself and creates fine furniture, sharing the journey via online content with a growing army of fans. In this film Matt talks about the journey from software developer to follow his passion for woodworking professionally.

I really needed this. I fell into woodworking the same way. I felt like I needed to grow up and get my bed off of the floor so I made my own bed frame from solid birch and cut everything with a $15 hand saw. 3 years later (now) I've quit my old job and started picking up more commission work.
