Honestly Sakitech, I wish I never saw this video... Now I have to go buy myself an s6 and all the goodies that go with it. I am a road warrior and you just proved to me that I can't live without this stuff. My office just gave me an iPad and all the good stuff, but I just hate it because of all the limitations that I do not have with Samsung, just like opening password protected excel and the inability to really manage file folders.

i have an s5e. Love it... but would like a bigger screen once in a while for watching movies. I debated back and forth between using usb c hub and connecting to a larger monitor or getting a Chromebook. Well, I finally decided and i have ZERO regrets. Tab S5e connected to 24inch FHD monitor. USB keyboard/mouse plugged into usb hub. Bluetooth speakers. It's amazing. And, with this setup.... when I want something handheld, like when I am laying on the couch, I have the tablet. So much more comfortable than holding a chrombook.

The quickest way to get to DeX mode is to pull down the notification shade and click the Samsung DeX shortcut!

Yes Dex is awesome now. There has been many nice changes to Dex. Its a great tool & there's no other phone that transforms into a desktop computer. I use a
Microsoft surface bluetooth mouse & bluetooth logitech keyboard. Voila, I have a
Desktop PC on my 120 inch lg profector. I was doing that with my note 8 but the speed of the 855 & 12 gigs of ram. A smoking fast

I bought a tab s6 a bit ago. I'm selling my Galaxy fold to pay my savings back lol. I love the fold but it's so dumb that it doesn't have stand alone dex mode. It's certainly a good size for it. Besides the fold is amazing but it's a jack of all trades master of none.
It has good battery and good cameras but the S10 and note 10 series had better battery and better cameras. It's a good size inner screen but the tab s6 has a better size screen and better battery life. The note 10 and tab s6 have s pen support. The only feature that makes the fold really worth it is that it folds and it has a lot of storage and r, which of course the s to ultra and note 20 ultra both match. The fold just had bad timing and should have come out sooner, or later with better specs.

Samsung, a hardware company did what Google's Slate tried and Chromebooks try but Google failed 😂 Now propaganda say wait for Fuchsia OS, a unified all in all solution someday somewhere...

You can drag and drop apps from the app tray on to the home screen so that app icon can stay on the Dex home screen.
