thank u so much. its always the simple questions that put me off because i either over-complicate them or simply forget the method needed. And for the algebra/ratio type questions i struggle to use it to get an answer. For example, the last question you equated x + 80 to 3x (where i would not have known how to do it) but solving to find x is fine.
Basically, when you or any teacher goes over the answer the logic is simple but my mind just doesn't think that way.

WAIT: would I have gotten the three marks (for the hazelnut question) if I did this, H:M:C=90:125:787 (all divided by 1.25) to get 72:100:630 (then all divided by 72) to get 1:1.38:8.75
