Actually we can change it in percentage by multiplying to 100
So it became easy like 3/4 X 100=75 and 4/5 is 80

Actually its easier to do cross multiplication.. Just multiply the numerator of the 1st ratio with the denominator of the 2nd ratio and vice versa :
3×5 =15 4×4= 16
16 > 15
Therefore 4:5 > 3:4
