A flat horizon is what I would like to see on the new Fimi Mini.

A quick means of onscreen exposure adjustment and photos without shutting off video, even if it automatically pauses and resumes video. Preserve setting like "high quality" even if the drone is boxed up.

The one thing I'd like to see on the FIMI Mini, is what I'm hoping to see on any high quality drone sometime in the future: A way to see the drone's height above ground level at its current location, not just relative to where it took off. I fly a lot in mountainous areas, and this would be a huge help in keeping the drone at a proper height as I approach and return from raised landscape features.

I think it should have at least ActiveTrack, because DJI Mini2 has not. We won't see obstacle avoidance, because this fearure is unavailible for budget lightweight drones. Thanks for emailing, I will wait for that Navi Mini

I would like them to do some extensive testing and development instead of releasing it to the public to test like they did with the X8 2020. Some quality control would also be good.

As others have commented, the FIMI MINI should have all of the following:
·First of all, the most requested "feature": horizon crooked issue corrected, and the ability to adjust horizon level *in flight* (like DJI drones can do).
·Be able to adjust shutter speed/ISO in manual mode *during video recording*, as someone mentioned before. Not just EV compensation, but the entire exposure range; for filming sunsets like I do, this functionality is a must.
·Fix the yaw braking issue of the X8 2020, the drone must brake or stop rotating the instant you release the yaw control stick; but the X8 2020 won't stop rotating, yaw movement braked very slowly, making precise framing a real challenge.
·DNG's should be saved at the full sensor resolution (12MP sensor?). The X8 2020 only saved DNG's at 4K frame resolution. Don't know if that was fixed later.
·VERY IMPORTANT!.. this hasn't been mentioned before: be able to manually select the WiFi transmission channel, NOT rely on automatic selection, because unless you're flying in a remote unpopulated area, you'll need to use the 5.8Ghz band to avoid interference and signal connection loss in any urban area. Even with the DJI Mavic Air 1 and Mini 1, automatic channel selection was not reliable, the signal usually drops real soon because it selected a 2.4Ghz channel, which is very prone to interference. The X8 2020 was constantly dropping signal at very short distances in urban areas, probably because it failed to switch to a 5.8Ghz channel and there is no way in the control app to manually select the transmission channel.
·Add AEB (exposure bracket) mode. Very useful for producing true HDR images.
·Add burst shooting mode. Besides capturing fast movement, this is also very useful for combining a burst of images in a stack to produce a cleaner, more detailed image, especially in low light & high ISO images to reduce noise.
·Add spherical 360 panorama mode.
·Keep the zoom function (or SAR, as it's called :-)
·And finally… EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Have powerful enough motors to reach a "Level 5" wind resistance, like the Mini 2. Less than that, and it'll be severely limited in even a light wind, like the Mini 1 was.
If the FIMI MINI accomplishes all these things, it'll be a serious competition for the DJI MINI 2; of course if it's priced lower than the DJI M2 to compensate for the lack of the better DJI's Ocusync 2 transmission than a standard WiFi.

Love flying my Fimi but the camera is so poor compared to my DJI drones. Hopefully their mini will have a better camera with a Straight HORIZON 😂

i hope that the Fimi mini or the next drone from Fimi will be more than 250g, for example the size and weight like mavic air 2 so can be resistance to wind more, .. the weight of less than 250g is not much practical like the weight of mavic air 2 and more ..
i hope that will be with very good camera sensor better than the Fimi x8 2018, not like the rubbish cheap sensor 1/2.6" with pinkish color of Fimi x8 2020 which is like a toy sensor camera..
also it should be with good software and colors and options , and they add option sharpness to the list of contrast & saturation and wb etc ..
the sensor, colors & camera quality is so important without it the drone is useless ..
Fimi x8 2018 had a great sensor imx378 but the software wasn't so good ..
but i expect that the next drone from Fimi can be good drone with good price ...

Those were the most basic/generic responses possible. You must know some whistle-blower at FIMI. You're making alot of assumptions based off of little to no information. A "couple" of months? We all know that could mean 6 months or more. I was supposed to get my X8 2020 in a "couple" of months after I pre-ordered it.
