Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”

First year calc, first day, dude says "how many in here are taking this class for the second time?"  Half the class raised their hands I knew I was fucked.

I remember watching this when it first came out (while I was taking calculus),  and this was my reaction:  -_-
A few years later (just now),  I watched it again and laughed out loud. By the way, thank you,  integralCALC girl. I ended up with an A in both differential and integral. You were helpful; very clear explanations, as I recall.

Reason some students tend to mess up in calculus is because those students don't have a good algebra foundation.

So if you're taking calculus right now, make sure you know your algebra really well.

I took calculus, but I wouldn't know. My mind deleted everything the moment I finished my Calc 2 final.

Oh man. I remember my calculus II class in college. The final was full of physics-rooted word problems. I know for a fact I failed that final because I only did 4/7 of the problems, and my answers were sketchy at best.
I ended up getting getting an A+ in the course because the curve at the end of that class was absolutely absurd LOL.
