Ivory should be illegal everywhere and people who kill elephants should be given the death penalty. They are killing them for useless items that we don't need at all

What about claiming ivory from elephants that die naturally on reserves? You could even have the reserves sell it to help further elephant causes.

There is only a practical solution, If an elephant can survive without tusk, Government should take that out tusk, only the visible part, through official process, And sell that in market.
Hunters wont kill that animal which dont have much large tusk.
Government will get revenue also, And elephants also survive.
