I haven't seen anyone talk about this:

The music Mythrodak often uses if from Little Nightmares 2. At the end of Little Nightmares 2, we see a similar thing happen, with Mono (the main character) being doomed into an endless time loop where he becomes the villain, where the end and the begging meet up.

The music in The Abyss is the exact same as when Mono is trapped in the Stomach of the signal tower, paradoxically slowly turning into the villain, in a timeless place like The Abyss.

It is my theory that the story is inspired by Little Nightmares 2 (which is one of my favourite games of all time).

Long story short, Mythrodak is in a time loop where he becomes the villain because of the people trying to stop him. (This can be seen as The Thin Man (future 'evil' Mono) leads him to the signal tower, by capturing Six (another important character similar to The Parrot)), leaving Mono to be betrayed and left to rot in the Stomach of the real Villain, the thing that caused all this, The Signal Tower.

It sounded like a story mythrodak made out of "little nightmares 2", he falls in love with Plumkin and plumkin betrays, gets stuck in him own mind and in time goes back to the beginning.

My guess is that this story is going to follow the classic route of the prophecy coming true purely due to the actions taken to prevent it. Mythrodak would have been perfectly happy living in peace with his pet bird, but now he is on the path to vengeance.
