I have a question
I gone to a store in egypt to buy a Neumann tlm103
I know that the weight of the mic os 450 gms
But i found the weight is 345 gms
I refused buying the mic, and the seller want to make aproblem with me saying if you don't wan't to buy why you open the sealed box?!
I told him that your mic not original, that the original one weight 450 gms and your is 345 gms
And i left the store.
Is there is a Neumann tlm103 in the world weght more or less than 460

Hi, i bought a tlm 103 recently. Everything looks legit & it weighs 453 grams. Only thing I noticed is that when i open the grill, the visible top of pcb board is red & the bottom of it is green. Is this something to be worried about in terms of its authenticity?

I have recorded with this and feel like it picks up a lot of the noise around and it’s very sensitive to loud vocals what should I do?

This is the only evidence for me that I didn't get a counterfeit 103. On official resellers websites there are only mics mit modern small fonts and no "TYPE" before "TLM 103". But here I can see the first time that you have got a mic with the same font as mine in your hand. The word "TYPE" is also visible here. My serial number is written "SE- NR." 03114 (digits are drawn in pixel font). (Often it's written as "SER-NR.")
So I've got one of the first 4.000 mics which maybe have been produced before the year 2000 ❤
