I was a hair stylist for 32 years and became ill with systemic Lupus and lost everything. I really did not know what I was going to do with the rest of my life. Started rock painting 4 years ago and now I am doing art through Milan Art Institute. I’ve had some set backs, but I don’t care how long it takes me, I’m going to finish it! I am so grateful to be a part of the whole Milan family! So, so blessed! ❤🙏🏽

Betty Edward’s book changed my life too! Ive owned several copies because ive shared it with people who have told me thy couldn’t draw. One gal i told about it was selling very rough paintings in a craft sale, she said she wished she could draw better, so i gave her my copy of DRAWING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR BRAIN . A year later i was at another art fair, I was walking around, when out of nowhere i feel this hug from behind. i turned around to see who it was and at first i didn’t recognize her, and then she said “ i met you a year ago and you told me about that book! I want to thank you! My art is so much better! And i looked and it really was great!! Great book!

If you Milans and Dunns are the same people in person as you present to us on these videos…….well, let’s just say that I think your households must be a positive dream to live in. You are all just simply lovely. Thank you for sharing your joy.

I'm in the middle portion of my life and grasping at reigniting my passion for art and self expression. Learning who I am....all of it. I just found you and love your content so much. I'd love to be considered to win the kits and drawing + giveaway. To have an art supporting family is such a blessing. No stumbling in the dark!

I make a similar easel to what Milan Art suggests, by putting the big board on two dining-room type chairs set apart and leaning it back against the backs of the chairs. If the board is not too heavy, the chairs can actually stand free and still support the board.

I felt like you at school! Being clever enough to be good at almost everything, but not actually excelling in one field which I was so yearning for. And I discovered Betty's book way later in life and chose to do university again and now am studying art and couldn't be happier:))) lots of love to you xx

Staring at a blank wall, or into "space", gazing non-conceptually at a fixed point, "at" nothing in particular, but with fixed eyes and a still body, is a profound type of meditation called "Shamatha" in Sanscrit or "Shin-ne" in Tibetan. It is a deep practice and the more it is done, the more benefit you will see, as the nature of your mind will reveal itself to you. Most of us need to work at it as a discipline. If John is "naturally inclined" to do so, this is a good thing indeed!

My mother introduced me to that book when I was in my 20's. It changed my life. I always try and stay in my right brain. Left-handed, graphic designer in my family printing business. It makes you different, or not understandable by others. But, I would rather draw and paint and "be there."

Would love to see all of these but no captioning. Don’t receive to much info when partially deaf. My loss.

I danced! ..and seemed to be able to do the opposite motions! SO glad I found your emails! I was feeling disconnected, and the first video I watched, my questions were answered, and I know this is going to be great! Looking forward to listening to more!!

I had such a blast watching this whilst getting ready to go and work in my studio. Whirling my foot and dancing whilst brushing my teeth and doing my makeup 😂
