For back mount rubber hoses all the way. I'm about to start diving with stages and planning to use miflex hoses. Definitely for the HP hose. As a safety feature I'll like to use colored hoses as well. Black rubber hoses not O2 clean, green for O2 serviced regs.

what would be the comparison between flexibility and weight?

Hi Andy. I have always dived with regular rubber hoses on my 2nd stage, I don't know the MiFlex. Query: Is the MiFlex hose more comfortable when turning my neck? Is it more comfortable in the sense of not straining my neck and jaw as much? I want to know if there is a big difference in that aspect. I await your response, thanks.
