Detroit police adding 300 officers to streets for end of summer

Police will get double overtime as they work the streets during the end of summer in Detroit, which typically comes with events, parties, and other gatherings that draw large crowds. Police want to ensure those events remain safe.

It's like when will we learn that more police don't stop crime. All it does is put non criminals in a boat with criminals and inturn makes more people distrust them while also forcing the police to focus more on numbers than protecting and serving. Policing turns into a production job that needs to be feed.
