As we enter the final weekends of summer, Michigan Mayor Mike Duggan is now approving double-time pay for Detroit police officers to ensure the department has enough officers on the street to curb gun violence. Those enhanced overtime rates start Friday, and while they’ll only last a month, it adds about 300 additional officers on the last few weekends of the summer, which is something Detroit Police Chief James White says the city needs.

POLICE "Revenue Pirates" have NO LAWFUL DUTY to PROTECT Our "CHILDREN" or "PEOPLE": (Police are Corporate Revenue Officers for State Profit!)
The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled and again in (Castlerock vs Gonzales) Police Serve and Protect the Corporate States for Profit, NOT the people of the states!
Qualified Immunity must be abolished (Removed) from state revenue-collecting police for honest accountability! (Police serve and protect the state, not the people!)

Don’t be fooled everyone, notice how the double time is specifically paid if the officers work downtown? This does not help the neighborhoods at all just another case of the city making downtown a priority and leaving the neighborhoods to suffer
