Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce or one ripe banana (mashed)
2 tbsp maple syrup or sugar of your choice
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 flax egg ( 1 tbsp flax meal + 2.5 tbsp water)
1.5 cup milk of your choice
2 cup rolled or old fashioned oats
1/4 cup oats flour
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup Sliced strawberries

8x8 inch square pan
Oven temperature 350 degrees F (180 degrees C)
Baking time 35-40 minutes

Notes:
1. Store the baked oatmeal in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave or a warm oven.
2. Serve it with milk/Greek yogurt/maple syrup/honey/chocolate syrup/ nut butter and some fresh strawberries.
3. For gluten-free oatmeal, use certified gluten-free oats.
4. You can use 12 cup cake pan too with non-stick cooking spray or liners for baked oatmeal cups.
