How to Convert Word Docs to Google Docs

In this micro-lesson you will learn how to:

- Understand the pros and cons of working in Docs / staying in .docx format
- Go to Drive, select New, then File Upload
- Choose an existing Word document from your computer to add it to Drive
- Double-click the document you want to open in Drive and select Open with Google Docs, or right-click the file and select Open with Google Docs (if you are in Docs already, go to File, then select Open and locate a document on Google Drive)
- Go to File, then Save as Google Docs
