I once built about 25 natural parks as America. It was a wild game.

Appeal is such a weird thing in Civilization VI. For some reason, if a tile is within the 5th ring of a city, and not in a 4-tile range of any City Center, the Appeal of that tile is set to 0 instead of its real value (or 4 for Mountains). That is why sometimes you can't put that National Parks in non-workable range of a city.

Finally after some months I figured out that the most imporatnt and that few people talk is that u need to have a single city working all tiles necesary for the national park :D

It’s difficult to plan for natural parks because I’m usually so focused on improving tiles that by the modern era I just don’t have enough unused tiles.

None. I went on a spending spree blowing a bunch of faith on an army of naturalists and then couldn't find out how to make a park. First round of civ6, some learning curve :p

Played as Julius Caesar one time on a TSL Mediterranean game. There was no France, Spain, etc. so I had all of Italy, Southern France, Iberia, and North Africa to myself. Built well over a dozen national parks, probably around a dozen and a half. Won a culture victory lol.

With the new Cleopatra gaining appeal from floodplains and the sphinx improvements you can build some massive parks try it out it's pretty fun

national parks can have specific improvements however. I had a national park full of sawmills

My best play is Pachacuti + Earth Goddess pantheon + Preserves + national parks, since preserve and earth goddess apply to mountain tiles when you play Inca

I had a perfect place for the national park. Shame the tiles were split between two tiles.

Really wish lake tiles were considered when placing a national park! Hopefully in Civ 7 🥲

I literally can’t buy units with faith. I have all the holy site upgrades and everything. I just can’t buy them. It gives me the option but I can’t select them
