Airbus has launched the A3 project with launch customer EasyJet.
As of yesterday morning Airbus, the European aircraft manufacturer, have launched their newest project, the Airbus A3. This aircraft will come in 2 variants, the A3-100 and the A3NEO. So far only EasyJet, a low cost British airline has placed an order on the A3, planning to receive 12 A3-100s and 67 A3NEOs.

Many speculate that this launch was to counter rival, Boeing’s latest aircraft, the Boeing 7. Here’s what Airbus CEO, Guillaume Faury, has to say about it. “The Airbus A3 is, uh, meant for Ultra Short Haul (USH) flights and, uh, the -100 has a range of, uh, around 100 nautical miles as the name suggests. Uh, the NEO was originally called, uh, the -200, due to having a range double, uh, the -100.

(And yes, it's a joke)
