The swamp ash 513 gives the greatest srat tones ever! I have a studio model with two N/F + ct HB bridge which is very versatile but I think the 513 is the ultimate, my mates sw/ash out sustains it and is generally more rounded.There is simply not a bad note in a PRS (unless you put it there).High priced? well if you want the best tools to do your work then you pay for them.Guys will buy a car then pay more than the PRS costs for extras like sound systems and wheels.If you settle for less you will never be happy, are you worth the price? don't you deserve the best? one life live it and enjoy.

I'm a PRS guy and am fascinated by the versatility of the instrument. I'm saving up for one now. You need to hide the whammy bar from the guy that played the demo, other than that, very helpful. Also looking forward to having the email I sent to Support a month ago answered.

I own a 513 and can say that it does what Paul says it does. It's the main squeeze of my collection and one of the best workhorse guitars I've played in a long time. Sapphire Smokeburst is a beautiful finish, by the way.

Ok this one is a better demo ... sounded decent at the start but by the time you got to the overwound humbucker it was farty distorted.
