The reason I feel it is a robbery is because in 2018, Mbappe won the World Cup, Ligue 1, Ligue 1 player of the year and Ligue 1 young player of the year, World Cup young player, and Ligue 1 golden boot. He also won the treble with a World Cup, Ligue 1, and Coupe de la Ligue. But these didn't count towards winning the ballondor, so instead of either Ronaldo or Mbappe winning it Modric did. Also, Mbappe has a total of 53 g/a (40 goals and 13 assists) in 46 appearances in the 2018/19 season, and in the 2017/18 season, had 42
g/a (29 goals and 13 assists) in 56 appearances. So now, all these things count towards Messi winning the ballon dor but not Mbappe (and Ronaldo)? Messi is just, and always will be, favorited by FIFA.
