i actually lost the tds tutorial (on purpose), what you need to do is just place scout when they tell you to place any other tower, for exemple, when they tell you to place down the minigunner to kill the boss, you can just deploy a scout, and then you lose

You can lose in the tutorial by upgrading the sniper to fast but might be patched
