GIS Tutorial 5 : ADDING FIELD IN THE ATTRIBUTE TABLE

Task5: Add Fields in the AttributeTable

Steps:
1. Open ArcMap
2. Open your .MXD file.
3. No need to start editing.
4. Right click on Layers and select Attribute Table.
5. Go to Table option and click on add field.
6. Give the Name and Type of the field the ok. Same procedure follows on other layers..
7. Go to Editor and start the editing.
8. Open the Attribute Table of one of the layer, select the column which you want to fill then right click and go to the Field Calculator and fill the Table(Example:District-“Hissar”)*
9. Go to editor and Save edits
10. Save your file .MXD for next Task.
