Lee ! I know I can be long winded, but I have to tell you my
Silent Night Deadly Night story. The weekend the original movie came out, I was 13 years old, and my Church was taking all the teens to a Christian college for the weekend, to stay and see what it's like there. ( the students were not in session at the time, so lots of churches bused their teens in to have a weekend there.
On the way in to this town, which was like 3 hours from home, we passed a theater downtown and I saw the marquee and it said Silent Night Deadly Night, well, I got very excited, lol. That evening, once the adults left us alone and we were " turned in" to our dorm rooms for the night, I convinced two other guys to climb out of the dorm window and walk to the theater with me to go see the movie! 😂 Not one of us was over 16 years old. So three kids walk up to the box office and ask for 3 tickets for Silent Night Deadly Night, and they sold them to us ! 😂 So, we went in and watched the movie ! Then walked back and climbed back through the window.
It was an AMAZING time ! Excited to see what they do with the remake.

Mike P. Nelson directed the reboot of Wrong Turn! Which for me is the best one! I heard originally this silent night remake was going to have the same producers of jeepers creepers reborn 😅 so they have definitely upgraded with bloody disgusting and Mike.

This is actually a remake I can get behind. I love the original but it’s no means a perfect film that’s untouchable.. and I’m always game for a new Xmas horror. There is still not enough. So we need more! I actually enjoyed the 2012 loose remake. I’m guessing this will be out next December. Next year looks pretty stacked already. Horror fans keep getting spoiled lately :)

No say it's not true as the original is a classic Xmas 1980s horror film just look what happend when the Back Xmas remake film came out a couple of years ago 🙄😖😡
