This is one for my sister, who battled kidney failure, for 11 years, she was such an inspiration to me she was brave, courageous, strong, always wore a smile no matter of the down days, she always had a sense of humour I grew up basically living with her I have a lot of memories and when she took bad after I conceived my son I cared for her, bathed her, took her shopping helped her with her daughter. And when I gave birth she come up to hospital with her daughter and absolutely fell in love with my boy she called him her little ray of sunshine or our chubby chops... She lived only 4 months of my sons life & this song, especially when it says "this particular diamond was extra special" "but when I'm cold, cold, and when I'm cold, cold, there's a light that you give me when I'm in shadow, there's a feeling with in me that's ever glow" & "sisters who ride" & " life as short as the falling of snow & im going to miss you I know"... I know your always with me and the way you will show and your with me where ever I go and you give me this feeling that's ever glow!!! When she said my son was her sunshine she is now his everyday shining on him watching him grow up & I know she will be proud!

I first hear this song played on air on radio city 96.7 after hearing some devastating news. A close member of our family group had sadly past away. I was sat in my van having my dinner when i got the call and as soon as i put the phone down, This song came on. I cryed so hard that day in my van. It doesnt matter if your related by blood or not. If your in someones life long enough you become.part of it, You become family. This lady was like a grandma to me. She was amazing and 1 in a million and in the next couple of weeks i have to make, film and edit one of the hardest projects i've ever done.
