Don't know if it was the reviewers flimsy touches but the ui seemed quite laggy. Seen other videos where it looked super smooth. Hope this video isn't the status quo because for the specs of the phone, lag is just unacceptable.

And I'm sorry but if you look at the speed that the ui moves and launches and transitions, is a dropped frame really the only thing you're taking away from this?! This looks like an excellent performer, to me.

The ppi on that of the Xperia Z is better than the Butterfly's. Also Butterfly is expensive as compared to Z also you get the same processor but also a great design. The design is magnificent.

Its cuz they slowed down the transition speed to add a gliding effect the Nexus 4 is the stock launcher so it is snappier looking

Unfortunately Z could be ZEE or ZED depending on where you come from. But if you are using the "Japanese Company" argument, then you are wrong because they actually say "Zetto", which is basically "ZED" with an extra "O"

Pre-sale phone' as well as the firmware. So lag is acceptable for pre-release device.

If a couple of instances of minor lag is all you can complain about then this must be a kick ass phone. I've seen Galaxy S3s stutter, I've used iPhone 5s that have dropped frames and stalled while launching apps. Please people, a little perspective!
