For anybody who is at an intermediate to advanced stage in their guitar playing and is looking to improve their speed; pay careful attention to Stratens left hand for the first 7 seconds of this video.
It's one of the best examples (caught on camera) of and exceedingly relaxed touch/hand position.
You can see the fingers barely touch the strings (just enough to sound the notes and/or impart momentum to pull-offs or hammer-ons).
To play runs like this comfortably and at speed the hand most be under zero tension or strain (or as close to zero as possible) ... actually, watch it with the sound turned off!
