I had a Meat sandwich today and I enjoyed it. But I went home and I had to have a fruit and some oatmeal. My body felt it needed that plant based food. And tomorrow going to a vegetarian restaurant. But i do enjoy the occasional meat in my diet and for my nutrition.

Wonderfull basic way of telling everybody what counts - its the percentage of phytochemicals in what you eat, and you only find that in whole plant foods. Eat “the rainbow of G-bombs (Greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, seeds, nuts. ) 🎶🍀🎵💚🐸🙏

Percent of what though? Percent of volume? Percent of weight? Percent of calories? It's certainly interesting... I track my diet pretty close, I wonder how hard it would be to actually calculate that number... Thanks for posting!

I just found out through a blood test that I have 41 food sensitivities, including some fruits and vegetables. 😕It’s a bit overwhelming to say the least. I was going between vegan and vegetarian the last three years. I started eating chicken and I am feeling better but it really does gross me out at the thought of eating the flesh of a dead animal. We are literally eating death when we eat meat. I actually don’t like it at all but I am sleeping better. A diet dense in nourishment makes all the difference in the world.

What does Greger mean when he says the percentage of your food. Does he mean by weight by volume by calories?
