Normal sudoku rules apply. A purple line contains a set of consecutive digits in any order. Adjacent digits on a green line differ by at least 5. Box borders divide a blue line into segments of the same sum. A white dot joins consecutive digits. The grey circle contains an odd digit. Digits shown in a circle appear in at least one of the surrounding cells.

Brinel here, thank you for featuring the puzzle! and to see so many positive comments. You have made my day. p.s I also created the pool puzzle a few months back :)

31 minutes in, I'm half-convinced he's going to brute force solve this thing without using one of the clues at all.

15:58 "This is now 4, 6 or 7 where the hole is".
Oh dear. I think he's forgotten that's not just a golf hole.

I was amazed that I was able to keep up with Mark's speed until I watched the video and saw why. Recently I've gotten in the habit of rereading the rules whenever I get stuck for more than 5 minutes.

When I looked at the fantastic picture the puzzle made, I thought to myself "'I bet the odd constraint for the hole isn't really necessary, I bet it's just there to make the picture pretty" - Mark proved I was completely wrong, and I was doing Brinel a disservice. Great puzzle

I loved the image in this grid. What a clever use of the constraints! It's so nice that it brought to mind a specific golf hole for you, as well, Mark. As for what you saw and what you didn't see, as I have said so many times before, I would far, far prefer seeing a real solve by a real person than a perfect solve. Now mind you, I don't at all mind when you do solve perfectly, not one bit. But it is not realistic that you would never drive into the rough. (Even real golf would be quite boring if every player was absolutely perfect for every shot.). No, I am so glad that you (and Simon) do live solves. Thanks, as always, for the video, Mark.

Pro tip: at the beginning of the solve, put in the possibilities for the circle and squares.

This was great, flowed very nicely all the way till the end. These gas+ level puzzles are often the most fun to solve.

Mark always amazes me with his speed but this one time, I found myself silently chanting by minute 36, finally shouting in my head by minute 38, "Row 1 column

Huh. Looked at the various solve times here already, and was surprised to find out I solved this one pretty fast. Done in 14:44 (conflict checker off), no guessing involved, this just flowed really smoothly for me! Loved it, many thanks to Brinel for it!

I finished in 28:07 minutes. This was a cute themed puzzle. I enjoyed coloring it, but I think my favorite part was working out the region sums. Ruling out an 89 pair was fun to see, as well as ruling out 9 from r2c4 as that breaks the region sum in box 1 by forcing it to have a 9 on it, ruining the total. As always, it feels good to beat Mark's time. Great Puzzle!

21:57 for me, Goodliffed the grey circle at the start which saved a lot of time. Different solve path but pretty pleased with that time :)
