A new Sudoku Constraint and a mythical challenge.

My solve of "Torment of Tantalus" by PjotrV. A Sudoku using the Anti-Knight and Tantalus constraints.

📋 Puzzle Rules:
• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Cells that are a Knight's move apart (in chess) may not contain the same digit.
• Tantalus rules apply. The number X outside the grid can't be the digit X in the first X cells in its direction. Digits in corners of the grid are pointing to their respective diagonal.
eg. The 4 clue in row 2 means r2c6789 can't be 4.

This constraint is Bonkerz as Brem would say.
Was tough but very interesting.
Would like to see more of this constraint possibly easier to get used to it.

Wow - what a fun puzzle. I found this pretty doable (24:46 - about the same as some of the Family Day Out puzzles for me) and I certainly enjoyed the Tantalus constraint (first time I've seen it). I did resort to colouring 1s and 2s to the end - but I am not sure I really needed it but it made it a bit clearer. I think I managed the 8s with simpler anti-knight logic (just looking at boxes 3 and 6).

Great video, and really interesting puzzle! I appreciate learning new tricks, and the Tantalus constraint is going to make me do just that. This one broke my brain, but after watching the video, I now have new tricks in my Sudoku arsenal. Thanks!!!

Nice puzzle but I was really annoyed with the way the rules were phrased. Anyway it took 18 minutes to solve.
