I went urban exploring in this abandoned psychiatric hospital many years ago. Creedmoor is still in use, but many of the buildings have been repurposed, or neglected.

In the 1980s a patient was killed in one of the wards at this psychiatric center, which prompted investigations. News reports detailed numerous horrors and abuses committed by hospital staff. When you walk through this abandoned building these stories add to the eerie feeling.

The paint is falling off the walls, and debris is scattered everywhere. Old wheel chairs and other remnants from the past can be seen. The building was most likely also home to squatters or homeless people. Evidence of this can be seen form old beer bottles, and a shopping cart in the abandoned halls.

Fun Fact:
Creedmore originally owned the Farm (Queens Country Farm ) next door. Aprrently working in the farm was theraputic therapy for the patients at Creedmore. It was later sold to New York State parks and recreation.

Awsome video! My grandfather lived right behind this place, And because of that it turned into my first ever explore. A really neat treasure this is. I’m glad to see this particular building is still quite untouched, security must be doing well so far. Great work!!

When I was in my teens 15yrs ago I'm 35 now me and my friends all had mini bikes and go peds. We found a hole in the fence in Creedmoor. I sware its like a abandoned city. It's huge. The one thing that hit us was the 🐦 💩. I'm talking about 💩 that was 4ft high in some places. We literally explored the place for hours.

I use to explore the campus when I first moved in Bellerose. However now since the State police call it home. You get kicked out for tresspassing.
