Patterns, habits, and routines, no matter how we label them, your brain loves them. These repeated actions save your brain effort, so it is constantly looking to form them. In fact, the more actions that you can turn into subconscious habits, the less energy you must put toward thinking through basic behaviors. The problem is that this habit-forming part of your brain doesn’t judge your actions as good or bad. If you do an action over and over again, your brain says, “Hey, let’s turn that into a habit.”

Oh my gosh… it’s my portion control. I’ve been on Keto for several years but have stalled this past year after losing 45 lbs. I’ve been eating on autopilot with creeping cream intake as I watched you pour it in the coffee. What an eye opener!! Thanks for this video!!! ❤

I've been going along pretty well with the weight-loss (30 pounds!) then the holidays hit. Getting back on track has been challenging. After watching this video it seems like the old habits have just been waiting to take over. Zoning in on awareness is exactly what I needed to hear.

Staring at an open refrigerator and no idea how you got there...thank you for this gem, had me laughing so much....so true, I'm keto/low carb, great results, but my success is often down to how far away I can stay from my fridge

I was just thinking about this! I was starting to question some of the eating patterns I follow and why. Thanks Dr Becky for taking the thoughts that were just starting to formulate in my mind into actionable steps. I just realized the other day that I was eating lunch & I wasn’t even hungry. The clock said noon so time to eat. I have developed a habit of coffee with an unmeasured pour after lunch with one square of 85%dark chocolate. Then after dinner I see my husband (also on keto) snacking & I just don’t want to be left out so of course I join him. I have just 5% of work to do to see some more positive results! It’s so frustrating that he eats keto nuts & cheese without consequence & I look at them & gain weight.

My hours have just changed. I get home at 8:30 pm. Having my dinner break earlier than use to, I am having to find new habits, routines, etc to not be hungry and want a second dinner after work. Since I can finally go to sleep by 10 pm, i am finally getting good sleep, but feel so hungry. I am purchasing lmnt to sip on and relax as a new habit before bedtime. Thank you for the idea of a warm cup away from the kitchen, it makes total sense. Which is the exact reason I watch you!

I have replaced my morning coffee with the LMNT chocolate drink. I look forward to it every morning and those new flavors look SO good!! I have noticed that my nightly leg cramps have almost completey disappeared since I started drinking LMNT everyday. I start panicking when I get low becasue I don't want to go back to those sleepless nights. So incredibly grateful for this product.

I have lost 30 pounds following your advice. I don’t like coffee and miss my hot chocolate. I hope this chocolate LMNT will be a great substitute! In front of the fireplace will be my favorite place to enjoy it. Thank you for all your help! Low carb has worked for me!

Since following you on YouTube, I have begun to use LMNT daily for hydration and electrolyte replacement: down 40 pounds, A1C and fasting insulin both now in the normal range!!! After poor weight loss results, I realized that I was one of those people with awful metabolism which required 36+ hour fasting, something I never thought I would have to do much less be able. I am so determined to reverse my prediabetes & BP and be medication free by Spring 2024. My journey started April 2023 on Mounjaro 2.5-5.0 and won't increase because it works for me. Two months ago, I took my LMNT box out of the cabinet and dived into longer fasts. My longest was 62hrs! The IF, eating habits & tips I've applied from your videos have made fasting surprisingly easy. LMNT makes my trips to the gym easier while fasting, I'm 37 lbs. down & plan to exercise more frequently to reach my goal of 30 more lbs. next year. The chocolate sounds good and maybe they are working on Vanilla for coffee?

I had always used cream in my coffee, but now I use grass fed butter and mct oil. I put it in the blender and you would never know it wasn’t cream . It has a beautiful creamy color, and lots of frothy foam- so yummy 😋

What people need is disciplined and will power with awreness .I do healthy Keto, IF and OMAD. It solved lot of issues . I still have coffee with cream and little Bourbon in evening.

Would like to try the chocolate LMNT I think in the evening as the nights are cold. I try to follow your 0, 1, 2, 3 method- the best plan I ever heard of. I like the concept of making 5% more effort as it adds up! Thank you Dr Becky. I am down 23 pounds now.
