Chancellor appears to rule out tax cuts

The Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, has appeared to resist further calls for tax cuts during his speech at the Bloomberg headquarters.

He says that his party "understands better than others the importance of low taxes" but that he believes "the best tax cut right now is a cut to inflation."
