"The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior". Yes, true, and many Americans simply cannot overlook the fact that in 2020 Trump could not bring himself to admit that he recieved less votes (electoral and popular) than Biden. In 2024 Trump won, and so deserves to be President. But the fact that in 2020 Trump was so incapable of dealing with reality, and in light of all the steps he took, which have been well documented, to overturn the will of the American electorate, is blatant evidence of a huge character flaw. A flaw that is a deal breaker for many, although not enough to prevent his victory. This is a sad commentary on the US electorate.

Thank you, Dr. Petersen. My grown sons got me to start following you, and your common sense approach has helped all of us. But you know, you pretty much tell them the same things I tell them, but it seems to be more effective when you say it. Years ago I coached them in football, and would tell them something, but they didn’t listen that well. Then coach Smith would tell them the same thing, and they thought it was like gold. I noticed the same phenomenon with other people’s sons. They would listen to me better than their own fathers. But at least they listen to good advice, coming from you.
