Muk! Im a bit shocked you haven't played Chrono Trigger yet, you need to fix that like rn! It's such a classic, one of the cornerstones of the whole jrpg genre

I really like the look of this game. It reminds me of Chained Echoes. I saw a few streamers playing it. And it too, looked really great. I recommend playing it if you haven't already.

I'm around 7 hours into the game and I absolutely adore it. I was a bit concerned, because of the review comments were like "yeah, good game, but generic story" or something along those lines. Like "it's just okay". And I was wondering if the story would be ending up being cliché and lack-cluster... However, I've seen that they do that intentionally at times even to mock the clichés of the genre and they take it with humor. I don't think the game is trying to re-invent the wheel, it's just delivering a great piece of art in all senses. So, I'm glad you enjoyed the story and I'm looking forward finishing it myself and have my own thoughts of it. Personally, for me it's even more refreshing than Chrono Trigger, which I played a bit a couple of years ago and left, because I found it a bit too long (nothing wrong with that, considering I didn't have the chance to play it as a kid when I probably wouldn't have had any issues to play it for hundreds of hours). So SoS is a love letter to JRPs made for casual adults who want to be nostalgic, like me :D

Looks somewhat interesting, but think I'll stick with Phantasy Star Online. The music is better....
