All India Radio - Fall FULL ALBUM

A friend showed me this álbum almost 10 years ago and it has been with me ever since. The perfect blend of moody and wholesome, crisp production, beautiful haunting vocals that I can't help to sing along to everytime and lyrics that fit the rest of the record beautifully. In my eyes, a 10/10.

It might sound outrageous to many, but the last time I was this amazed at discovering a new artist was when I found out about Sigur Ros. Or Spoon or Explosions in the Sky.
Gorgeous music. Asphyxiate is quite a melody.

It was around 2008. I was on my own, all my friends away and trying to study for the exams to get into college. Just 20 years old, hopeful with dreams, heartbroken with many people I love... I had found All India Radio in one of those music blogs at the time, and fell in love with this album and Echo Other right away. It felt like my entire existence, feelings, thoughts everything became visible and reasonable with these songs. They were my best friends, they felt like 'me' whom I was still trying to figure out to understand who I am... It feels so intimate, deep and blue to me. I really cannot express what it meant to me... Next year I was listening to "Evening Star" with my then boyfriend and making love in velvety nights. His love didn't feel as close to my heart as much as these songs tho and gotta tell you; I loved him more than I've ever loved anyone at the time... Nevertheless over a decade later I just want to thank to those musicians and song writers; your melodies touched my heart deeply. And I appreciate your unknowing support in my desperate young days... Thank you.
