Under section 170. (1) talks about when the police officer incharge sees that their is sufficient evidence against you ( accused ) then the accused will be send for trail to the magistrate.
or if it is a bailable offence then the accused can be realised on bial by giving security and appear when the Magistrate asks.
(2) the magistrate may tell the complainant and the witness has to execute a bond to appear before Magistrate to prosecute or give evidence in the matter of the charge against the accused.
171 - if the complainant and the witness do not sign then they can be detained by the magistrate as long as the case doesn't end. ( discretionary power )
