How Anna Duggar Provides For Her 7 Kids

Fans have been keeping up with the Duggars ever since 19 kids and counting. But ever since son Josh Duggar found himself in legal trouble, the big concern on everyone’s mind is how will his wife Anna fare on her own? Josh is set to be sentenced sometime in April and the reality star faces decades in prison. With Josh in jail and 7 kids to raise, Anna is thrust into life as a single mom. Money has become a huge issue, Homeland Security raided the family’s used car lot and the couple sold their dream home in Arkansas way below asking price to pay for legal expenses. Out of the 3 dozen Duggar family members, not many have come to her aid, even now as she resides in a warehouse on Jim Bob and Michelle’s property. The majority of her family, including her parents, lives in Florida, so it might make sense for her to stick close to the Duggars. But Anna has stayed away from social media possibly to avoid negative comments. So, it is unclear whether Anna plans to stay on the Duggar property, or move away and get a job to support the kids. Anna recently broke her silence and resurfaced on Instagram and Twitter to say there is “more to the story” and posted a link to his appeal filing. This leaves even more unanswered questions as to whether Anna will file for divorce, or stick to her strong Christian morals and stand by her husband.

I wonder how she would feel about someone who wasn't Josh getting off on the severe abuse and torture of babies? Especially if it was were her children who were being victimized. Would it be wrong then?

As a wife myself I can say I can support my husband through bad times like financial problems, health problems perhaps if he is being accused of stealing or an affair; however if my husband is accused and there is evidence of him coming a crime where he killed or hurt others specially kids, then that’s where I draw the line 🙅🏻‍♀️

Men who molest or do horrible things to children or get off on child porn have a way of manipulating their wives or partners to convince them that they are innocent and everyone is liars out to get them. Children need believed and stood by, not the pedophile regardless of if its in thought, word or deed. Prayers go out to the children in their time of crisis and need. Anna is still very delusional. She's been so brainwashed that she refuses to believe all of the horrible things that Josh did. She really needs to wake up and divorce Josh and get out.

Food stamps medicaid, and money from the state. She buys used and I'm sure free rent.

I'm sorry.... but she could never make it on her own. With 7 young children, it will be impossible to cover their health insurance, food and clothing expenses, and a roof over their heads. Even if she got a great job, she will need child care assistance in order to go do that job. No one can do it all on their own. Even if you are super rich and do not need to work, you still need a break from raising 7 kids all day or you will go insane. She had Jana watching her kids during the trial, but since one ran out of the house on her and Jana got in trouble with the law, I do not see her wanting to babysit anymore. I know I wouldn't.

Even if she waits for him after prison, neither of them will be the same as they once were. If he gets a 20 year sentence, he'll likely be a grandfather then, but he won't really know his family anymore.
People who taunt the law like that -- hurting others -- have no idea how stupid they are.
If anyone thinks this is over, there's many more Duggar boys lined up for trouble or severe mental problems, especially with a home life like that. Same with parents who keep having kids. They're darling and precious when they're young, under control, but they tend to change, eventually. A lot. And there's always problems, tension, regret, scraps with the law, truancy from school, hospitalizations, traffic violations, theft, car accidents, sicknesses, and disrespect.
It's hardly admirable.

If she left she could get a book deal that would set her and the kids up just fine, with enough to get herself some therapy to boot. Sadly I don't think she'd leave; she is programmed since childhood, and she's in too deep.

Jim Bob is paying for everything for Anna and her kids. Then, between Jana, Michelle and the other Duggar girls are the ones who are really raising Anna's kids while Anna is devoting the majority of her time to video chats and audio phone calls with Josh since Anna has made Josh a permanent priority over her kids. Hopefully, Anna will have gone through menopause by the time that Josh is out of federal prison.
