I remember when all the stuff came out about Josh in 2015 Anna’s brother offered to let her and the kids live with him for free. So she does have options but unfortunately she is brainwashed.

My heart hurts for Anna, and every other woman in her situation. I agree, she's been so badly brainwashed that she isn't truly aware of the help that's available to her and her children. She, and every other individual in her situation, deserve so much better 💜

A part that everyone seems to forget about Josh is that he wasn't downloading just CP but also r#pe videos of women. So he's clearly into sexual violence against women. The victims of those videos, even if they're adults, they suffered too. I never see that part being mentioned. I think it's VERY relevant and shows how he sees women and therefore his wife. Who knows what he has done to her physically, mentally.

I honestly believe her parents knew of Josh’s past, but kept it from her so she can still marry him (because God forbid a woman in IBLP have more than one courtship in her life). I got that feeling when I read her father’s letter to the judge in support of Josh. She is brainwashed from her upbringing and her “support system” is continuing to damage and paralyze her. I will pray for the day Anna will finally see the truth and walk away for good. It won’t be easy for her (seven kids with no education or money), but I have no doubt there are a lot of people who escaped the cult will help her.

Anna needs to walk away and get a divorce. She's not a bad person or an ungodly person if she divorces Josh.

I feel bad for anna. I think its hard for her to actually realize reality because shes brainwashed and was born with this cult. I've learned from watching people who broke away how hard it was to deprogram. She need deprogramming. It's hard to break away.

She is weak in mind. Not her fault, she was raised that way, to fear what she doesn't know. To be man dependent. She had never been exposed to the idea of a potential future without him. I blame her parents, at least her father, who raised her so she could be her husband's puppet. Her mother was probably just the same. I hope one of her kids will have the strength to break that generational pattern...
She needs to understand she'll be fine without him, she'll find support and compassion, not judgment, not from God, not from the world.

When Anna left the courtroom, her eyes looked so lost and depressed. But the sad thing is, she’s still in denial. If she hasn’t left by now, she never will. 12 years for child torture porn and she’s still loyal basically means she’s a lost cause, sadly.

NO WAY OUT! Wow. Adversity is things that happen to BOTH of you, around you, environmental, medical, economical—NOT something your spouse hurts or betrays you with or hurts OTHER people with.

A spouse proving loyalty through adversity does NOT mean staying with an ABUSER or a CRIMINAL.

If they threaten your life—really consider that real and get help fast!
