The Sumerian King List

The Sumerians created a "King list" that contained the names of mythical kings and later the names of the real kings of Sumer. The mythical kings ruled for unbelievable lengths of time - 36,000 years for example. The later kings governed for more realistic periods of time marking the beginning of the historical period.

Dr. David Neiman (1921-2004) was an internationally renowned scholar, speaker, and writer who inspired many people. His life's work concerned the intricate relations between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism throughout history and in modern times.

Dr. Neiman was the first Jewish scholar appointed to teach Religion at Boston College, one of America's leading Catholic Universities. He served as Professor in the Department of Theology for a quarter of a century. While there he was also invited to teach at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.

Sar means Land, not 3600 years. After the flood, time became the essence in mesopotamian religion. It is a more rational explanation in my humble opinion.
