If you substitute the 241, 200 years for days. Possible translation error? (my opinion)
241, 200 days is almost 661 years
8 kings would only have to live an average of just over 82 years old to make the math add up.

Their years might be different from our concept of calendar years. Roman Empire used 10 months calendar, Chinese still use lunar cslendar. We can not interpret ancient years as the current calendar system

241, 200 days is equal to 660 years. Approx. 82 years each. Which do you think makes more sense?

Before the flood, i think everything lived so many years as to seem like they lived forever. I think this is why dinosaurs got to be so huge, because they lived for hundreds if not thousands of years. I personally believe there were some sort of man that also lived like that and even grew to be the giants of old that are spoken of. Then ghe flood came and the atmosphere changed and that which lived after the flood lived shorter lives.

Wow. Gotta do the math, although math is not a strong point for me:

241, 200 years divided by 8 kings averages out to 30, 150 years per king. 😲!!!

A "Shar" was a day, Not a year. Think about it.

So, when did each of the 8 assume being king. If we assume 20 years old. That would make them 102 years old at the time of transition to a new king.

800 years divided by 13 moons per year is more realistic for human age.

241200 total years of all the 8 kings equates to 241, 200 total years/8 kings = the average life span for each king would have been 30, 150 years of age (each) NOT 82 years as Christopher Taylor suggested. BUT if "years" is a mistranslation and you convert the translation from years to days then yes Christopher's math is correct that each king was, on average and based on current calendar measurements of 30 days for one month and 12 months is one year then, yes each king was an average of 80 years old which isn't far fetched at all considering in biblical times the Bible states there were those that live to be in their hundreds (yes, plural). So depending on the exact translation would determine if the 241200 is significate in it being beyond amazing or simply just provision of the average age of the kings in days. I would take a guess that the number represents more of days than years in that, as far as I know, nothing indicates that years (as used in current/modern times) was the norm for measuring time and is more likely that days is the correct translation.
