Using a microfiber towel for me sucks out all the moisture. So I only use it to squish out water and product straight outta of the shower

I’ve got similar curl to you but probably more frizz. I never use a diffuser because it’s too slow. I use Cantù moisture cream and scrunch from soaking wet with my dryer on hot low speed but drying the scrunched hair in my hand so it doesn’t blow around.

Next time try the turtleneck hack! Put it on as always, then put it off but not all. It should look like all hair in the "body" part of the turtleneck. Then tie one sleeve and attach hair dryer to the other one! That's all and for me it's way more easy than diffusing.
