I don’t understand the complaints about the insight. “Your foot is floored all the time, ” where??? I live in Atlanta and NOBODY has their foot to the floor ever because traffic is so bad. Also no one buying this car would be concerned about speed they want the efficiency that they will get in spades.

G70 racking up the wins: Motortrend Car of the Year, Car and Driver's 10Best list, and now this. We'll see if it wins North American Car of the Year as well. Strong effort by Hyundai with the G70 and Veloster N.

G70 FTW!!!! It's also Motortrends car of the year. Genesis placed #1 on Consumer Reports list for 2018 in predicted reliability as well as #1 from JD Power in initial quality.

Most dont even know the depths of talent involved with the Genesis brand. Manfred Fitzgerald formally of Lamborghini heads the team, Luc Donckerwolke (BMW, Bentley, Audi), Peter Schreyer (Audi), Albert Biermann (BMW M), Shag-yup Lee (Bentley), Alexander Selipanov (Bugatti) and Fayez Rahman (BMW).

Do these guys now anything? The performance package on the Veloster N also adds electronically controlled limited slip differential, adjustable dampers, bigger brakes, lightweight 19" rims and dedicated Pirelli P Zero tires.
Not bad for $2100 !!!

I love Honda but that dude is right. An engine making noises that are "UNEXPECTED" is just wrong. Honda could have tuned this car so that the engine does not rev in unexpected ranges during static driving. That would drive me nuts too. Thats the only issue here fix the engine so it revs appropriately. Problem solved.

Presently driving the 2nd of my family’s three excellent Hyundai vehicles. When my state gets its 2019 Genesis models, the G70 will be the 4th. Such a great job by Hyundai at working to improve. If I was in my 20’s I’d easily get that Veloster.

I really like the look of the Himalayan Gray on the G70. But here is Canada, we have the option of 'Nurburg' Green. It looks really sharp on the G70!!!

I am planning to buy a G70 this coming summer and would love to choose this color option. The downside is that they do not offer the red stitching for the interior when choosing the Nurburg Green for the exterior color. So I might have to go with 'Adriatic' Blue (as I love the look of the red stitching w/the black leather)?
